''If IPL 2020 gets cancelled it is difficult for Dhoni to comeback''- Gambhir Said.
If the 13rd edition of IPL 2020 will not take place then it is very difficult for the Indian Selector to consider M S Dhoni for the T20 world cup 2020 which is going to be held in Australia.
Due
to the postponed of IPL 2020 by the BCCI due to the Coronavirus pandmic,
the Veteran Wicketkeeper batsman M S Dhoni chances of getting into the team
India comeback are getting less as Dhoni did not play the single match from the
world cup 2019.So his chances of getting back into team India is considerably
less if IPL is postponed or cancelled due to covid-19.With increase in the Covid-19 cases day-by-day the chances of cancellation of tournament altogrther is increasing.

Gambhir reaction on Dhoni comeback in International cricket |
SPEAKING ON CHAT SHOW OF ''STAR SPORTS CRICKET
CONNECTED'' -
Gambhir said that since M S Dhoni has
missed several matches and did not came into action since the world cup ''On
what basis'' he should considered in the T20 World cup.If the IPL does not
happen it become very difficult for wicketkeeper batsman to make a come back. Gambhir
appreciated K L Rahul batting and said he is multidimensional player who
can bat and can do the job of wicketkeeper, which make him the best apt
replacement of M S Dhoni in the International cricket.
Gambhir that K L Rahul as a wicketkeeper batsman is
the apt replacement of M S Dhoni
In the absence of Dhoni, team India
finds an wicketkeeper batsman that is K L Rahul who known for his batting
style and can perform as a T20 specalist batsman.
“If the IPL does not happen this year, then it
will become very difficult for MS Dhoni to make a comeback. On what basis can
he be selected since he’s not been playing for the last one or one and a half
year,” Gambhir said.
“The apt replacement for Dhoni could be KL Rahul.
Ever since he has donned the ’keeper’s gloves in white-ball cricket, I’ve seen
his performance, both batting and ’keeping. Obviously his keeping is not as
good as Dhoni’s, but if you are looking at T20 cricket, Rahul’s a utility player,
can keep and bat at No. 3 or 4,” he added.
“If the IPL does not happen, then MS Dhoni’s
chances for a comeback look dim. Ultimately, you are representing India, so
whoever dishes out the best performance and can win the match for India should
play for the team,” he said.
“As
far as {Dhoni} retirement plans go by, that’s his personal choice.”

that Dhoni still
has lot to offer to Indian cricket.

him back. There are some legends of the game, appreciating while around because
they are once-in-a-generation cricketer and don't push him into retirement too
early.
"Only Dhoni knows his mental state and
in the end the selectors select and players turn up when asked to," the
